"Road to Daytona" Provides Plenty of On-Track Action

HARDEEVILLE, S.C. (February 9, 2002) - There was great afternoon racing action for the second race of the year at the Hardeeville Motor Speedway. Walter Reardon of Savannah, Ga. won the Legends Cars main event for the second time in 2002. Scott Thorne of Hardeeville, S.C. picked up the Xtreme Stock Car victory.

Racing will return to the Hardeeville Motor Speedway on Saturday, March 9, 2002 for the Short Track Preview, Media Day and qualification races for the March 16th Gator 104.9 FM St. Patrick's Day Spectacular featuring the Allison Legacy Cars in a 150-lap main event.
