Heart O' Texas Speedway results 2005-06-17

Demolition Derby at H.O.T.

ELM MOTT--Tony Willet from Whitney was the last car running in Friday night' s Demolition Derby at the Heart O' Texas Speedway. Ronnie Vaughn from Cleburne and Bubba Shelton from Robinson were the second and third place winners.

Michael Thompson from Waco claimed the top prize in the I.M.C.A. modified feature. Cody Williamson from Waco and Charles Lamb from Aledo followed. Jason Honey and B. J. Dulock, both from Robinson, and David Khoury from Waco took the top three spots in the I-stock feature. Kevin Green from Robinson won the I.M.C.A. SportMod feature. Greg Atwood from Georgetown followed in second and Sid Kiphen from Gatesville ran third.

Oglesby native Corey Homan picked up the win in the I-stock feature with Nathan Sodek from Temple and Dillon Smith from Waco trailing. The street stock win went to Mark Geurin from Whitney. Doug Anderson from Waco and Jason Gauntt from Elm Mott rounded out the top three. Logan Saulters from Bellmead led Michael Robertson from McGregor and Chris Will from Waco to the finish line in the pure stock feature race. Robinson's Michael Guenat took home the winner's trophy in the cruiser feature. Kenneth Dean from Elm Mott and James Quinn from Waco followed Guenat.

The top three finishers  in the junior mini stock event were Chandler Simons
and Trevor Honea from  Robinson, and Trey Johnson from Waco.

Next Friday night is a  regular point night for all classes.  Kids will be
able to ride on racecars during intermission.  Gates open at 6:00  P.M. and
