Sussex, WI – Herzog Motorsports co-owner Randy Herzog announced WorldBestBuy.com has signed on as an associate sponsor for the teams they field for drivers Ricky Johnson and Mark E. Dismore in the American Speed Association (ASA) ACDelco Series.
One of the fastest growing internet shopping sites in the global market, WorldBestBuy.com has already established themselves in the fastest growing professional sport in the United States by sponsoring a NASCAR Winston Cup and Busch Series team, as well as an Indianapolis 500 entrant. With the addition of the ASA Series to their line-up, their sponsorship just further brands the WorldBestBuy.com site into the consciousness of the American public.
Steve Farmer, National Sales Manager for the ASA Series, linked WorldBestBuy.com with Herzog Motorsports to aid in the launch of this new relationship. "It's an opportunity neither party could pass up," Farmer explained. "Herzog Motorsports, WorldBestBuy.com, along with the ASA Series, will all benefit from this alliance."
"Herzog Motorsports is proud WorldBestBuy.com is joining us for an exciting 2000 ASA season," Herzog said. "We're off to a great start with Ricky and Mark and know the WorldBestBuy.com name will be running up front all season." With all twenty scheduled races televised live on TNN Sports, WorldBestBuy.com is sure to be a feature on the ASA tour.
San Diego-based WorldBestBuy.com is a wholly owned division of International Brands, Inc., a publicly traded technology company with majority or partial interests in Internet, media, entertainment, e-commerce and broadcasting enterprises.
Herzog Motorsports is a successful, championship-winning race team. Based in Los Angeles, California; St. Joseph, Missouri; Charlotte, North Carolina; and Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Herzog Motorsports will again field two teams in the 2000 ASA ACDelco Series with backing from Nationwide Auction Systems, Monster.com, and WorldBestBuy.com.
The No. 22 Nationwide Auction Systems/WorldBestBuy.com Chevrolet and the No. 44 Monster.com/WorldBestBuy.com Chevrolet will make their debuts Saturday night at Lanier National Speedway. The "Discount Auto Parts 300 presented by Jani-King" begins at 9PM EST and will be broadcast live on TNN Sports.
