Richmond, KY (Thursday, September 18, 2003) - - ASA Rookie Contender Davin Scites heads toward the Windy City of Chicago, IL for the running of the 15th event of 17 in the 2003 American Speed Association Series.
With a 'Fiery" new look Scites and the DSM (Davin Scites Motorsports) team are looking for a Victory at this weekend's Citgo 250.
"I'm looking forward to this track this year, we didn't have a Victory here last year but maybe this year we can," stated Scites.
Davin currently sits third in the 2003 ASA Rookie Point standings and is still in the running to complete the challenge in the top position for his first full season on the tour.
West Virginia native Davin Scites has a new look on his Chevy Monte Carlo, for the rest of the year! It definitely attracts your attention on where the #06 Chevrolet is on the track.
"I'm excited about our new look for the rest of the year, It is something the guys at Scrap Vinyl put together to add a little charterer to the car to finish the year," the driver added.
Not only did his Monte Carlo get a new look while having a few weeks off the track, Scites and his ASA Chevy Monte Carlo were the special guest of the first Home Football game of the season at the Eastern Kentucky University. Thanks to WCBR and J'R's Furniture and Live Wire Cafe for being apart of the event.
The American Speed Association rolls into Illiana Motor Speedway for the running of the Citgo MDA 25 Presented by Jani-King this Saturday night. The event will be broadcasted live on the SPEED channel beginning at 9:00 PM EST.
