Bruce Tunny's hard luck was Jack Dossey Jr.'s good luck Saturday night at the Indianapolis Speedrome. Points leader Tunny tangled early with traffic in the 50-Lap Bryant's 76 Late Models figure-8 feature taking him back in the order and rearranging the front end. Dossey outlasted Rodney Sizemore who dropped out at mid-race with problems. Following Dossey across the line were Bobby Douthitt, Curtis McMurtrey, Fred Bear Jr and Mike St. John. Earlier in the night Jeffersonville's Leonard Basham made a rare appearance on the oval and took the 25-lap oval portion of the Late Model features. Basham was tailed by Steve Frost, R. J. Norton Jr., Bill Tunny Jr. and Dossey. The Chuck's Race Car Parts Stocks went to Larry Hahn with Rick Gillespie and Bill Smith claiming top honors in the Sunshine Cafe Roadrunners. Speedrome racing kicks into high gear with another full weekend of stock cars capped Sunday by the $10,000 to win DENT Demolition Derby National Championship.
