Indianapolis Speedrome results 2001-06-10

Sunday afternoon, June 10 at the Indianapolis Speedrome. - - - - - - -The true low-riders hit the Speedrome asphalt for Round 2 of the Indiana Speedway Pavement Series for Go-Karts.  Over 75 Karts in 8 class challenged the fifth-mile flat-track oval with some tight racing and a lot of fun. Andy Prather and Brandon McMurtrey duels hard for the win in the Lite Stock Class.  Jason Shores enjoyed a walk in the park lapping the field in the 25-Lap Super Heavy Stocks.  Bruce Mckinley upheld family honors for the Yamaha power fans.  Joe McKee, Brad Honey and Jimmy Curry fought hard for the win in Heavy Stock with Mckee on top at the end.  Keep an eye on young Jeff Bland Jr.  the bubble gummer took top place in the Restricted Junior class for 13-16 year-olds.  Chuck Clark was best in Medium Stock while Michael Smith sailed to the win in Senior Hobby Stock and Jim McClain in Senior Stock.  A special "All Skate" event with karts from several classes went to Brandon McMurtrey over Jason Shores, Dennis Monroe and ten others after a last lap shoot-out following a Bruce Lintz spin.  The Series continues June 24 at the Historic Mt. Lawn Speedway and returns to the Speedrome on July 8.
