Saturday, September 22 at the Indianapolis Speedrome - - - Over 90 racers set their sights on the Sunshine Cafe Roadrunner 100 but it was 2001 Roadrunner Champion Kerry Wright who pulled a dramatic last-lap at-the-line pass on Barry White for the win. Scott Cothron and James "Toby" Eads joined them on the lead lap of a race that went green the entire distance despite the 55-car field.

Earlier Joe Sheedy triumphed in the Hutchison Signs 100 over a scrappy Oza Hoosier and Jimmy Kirby for the Speedrome Chuck's Race Car Parts Stocks Century event.

Open Competition Figure-8 racing returned to the Speedrome asphalt with Jack Dossey, Jr. beating out Rodney Sizemore and Bill Tunny, Jr. for fifty laps of "No Rules" racing. The Open Comp events return Saturday, September 29th for a 100 lap challenge.
