(December 20) - Fans and racers will have the chance to meet and greet drivers and officials from the International Pro Stock Challenge (IPSC) at the Northeast Motorsports Expo in Augusta, Maine on January 7, 8 and 9. The IPSC will have two cars on display, the "Y2K" series show car, as well as the 2,000 race car to be piloted by Ben Rowe from Turner, Maine. Rowe finished second in the '99 final points on the series and will be available at select times to sign autographs.

"We see this as a great opportunity to gain some exposure for our series," said Randy Black, IPSC Director of Competition. "Thousands of people go to this show - both spectators and racers. It will give the folks an up-close opportunity to touch and feel our cars. Our Tech Director, Paul Johnson, will also be on hand to answer any questions or concerns from the racers. We look forward to meeting and greeting old friends and new."

IPSC 2,000 event tickets will be given away as door prizes and the 2,000 schedule will be available on wallet-sized cards.

The Northeast Motorsports Expo & Trade Show is at the Augusta Civic Coliseum, with show hours on Friday, January 7th from 5 p.m. - 10 p.m.; Saturday, January 8th from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and Sunday, January 9th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $7.00 for adults; $4.00 for children 6-12 and seniors; and free for children under six accompanied by an adult. Three-day adult passes are available for $15.00.
