Pendleton, IN (February 26, 2003) -- Jani-King, the world's largest commercial cleaning franchiser, will back an extensive sponsorship program with the 2003 ASA Racing Series. The program will continue a relationship between ASA and Jani-King that began in 1998.

Jani-King will be the title sponsor of the ASA season opening event on March 22 at USA International Speedway in Lakeland (FL). The Jani-King 200 will be televised live to a national audience at 9 p.m. (Eastern) on Speed Channel.

In addition to the title sponsorship at Lakeland, Jani-King will serve as the presenting sponsor at four other events in 2003, Lanier National Speedway in Braselton (GA) on April 26; I-70 Speedway in Odessa (MO) on June 14; Illiana Motor Speedway in Schererville (IN) on September 20 and Fairgrounds Speedway at Nashville in Nashville (TN) on October 19.

"Jani-King has found that motorsports is a great way to get valuable national exposure for its business, as well as a great venue for entertaining its employees, franchisees and customers," said Mark Gundrum, ASA Executive Vice President and General Manager. "We're proud that Jani-King continues as a major sponsor with us this year and look forward to helping the company further its goals."

The ASA Racing Series event sponsorship program adds to the Dallas-based Jani- King's involvement in ASA. The company has also announced it will be the primary team sponsor for veteran driver Gary St. Amant and the Grand American Race Cars Team. St. Amant is a two-time former ASA National Champion, while Jani-King backed the Grand American Team with other drivers in the 2002 ASA Racing Series.

The sponsorship also includes a ticketing program at all ASA Sanctioned events designed for Jani-King franchisees, prospective customers and customers.

"Our involvement in racing gives our franchisees and us a tremendous number of new business opportunities," said Jani-King International President Jerry Crawford. "Through our regional offices, we have acquired contracts for several race tracks, as well as the chance to bid on contracts with some of the other companies involved as sponsors."

Jani-King is the world's leading commercial cleaning franchise company with more than 9,500 authorized Franchise Owners worldwide. Through a network of more than 100 regional offices, Jani-King contracts commercial cleaning services. The work is performed by Franchise Owners who operate their own businesses.

The 2003 ASA Racing Series season begins on March 22 at USA International Speedway in Lakeland (FL).
