Henderson Excited About ASA Season Finale; Boasts New Sponsor

Hampton, Georgia - - Hometown hero Jimmy Henderson will look to make his third and final start in the American Speed Association this weekend from Atlanta Motor Speedway. Henderson, who has spent the 2004 season competing in several different racing sanctions, will also debut his new Advanced Fluid Solutions sporting the EXP4 brand for the 14th race of the 2004 ASA season.

Headquartered in Dallas, Texas Advanced Fluid Solutions is a leading provider of high-performance greases, lubricants, specialty fuel additives and oil enhancers for consumer, industrial, mechanical and transportation applications.

The Advanced Fluid Solutions leadership team has more than 65 combined years of executive-level experience from Fortune 500 and U.K. companies in the research and development, marketing, sales and support of specialty fluids and chemicals.

AFS product lines are formulated for the food processing, industrial, and maintenance and transportation industries, as well as the broader consumer market. AFS offers products under the AFS, EXP4 and NUVO brands, which have been developed to meet and exceed manufacturers' specifications and industry standards for fluid replacement. Their products have been developed, tested and manufactured to their specifications by industry leading, private-label manufacturing plants.

"I'm very excited to have EXP4 onboard our No. 21 Chevrolet Monte Carlo this weekend," said the driver Jimmy Henderson. "We haven't had the opportunity to compete in many ASA events this year because of our sponsorship situation. However, with EXP4 now locked we can turn our focus towards putting our rookie team in victory lane."

The driver of car 21 added. "This will be EXP4 first event holding primary sponsorship. Our team is very excited that a well-structured organization like them is looking into expanding their marketing, and I hope that we provide everything they are looking for, and more. We are very proud, and honored to be carrying their logos Friday night."

The Conyers, Georgia native has good reason to be looking forward to Friday's World Financial Group 150. Earlier this year, Henderson was one of several drivers who took the opportunity to test at the 1.54 mile quad-oval and punched out very competitive times.

By the end of the fourth and final session Henderson had blasted his then sponsorless machine to the third fastest time. Maneuvering the track in 32.438 seconds at 170.911 MPH, Henderson was confident in his Superspeedway program.

"At the start of the season, we knew our short track program had the tendency to lack a little. However, we knew that we were going to make up for it when we headed to the big tracks," Henderson explained in April.

Nearly six months later, Henderson, who also competes in the ARCA RE/MAX Series for Atlanta based TC Motorsports, is looking to duplicate the horsepower and put a show on that no one will soon forget.

"Obviously, our team has high hopes for the weekend," he continued. "This season has been an uphill battle, we've hit some highs, but we've also hit rock bottom, this weekend is our chance to raise the bar and put this EXP4 Chevrolet in victory circle."

In just two races this season, Henderson has a career best finish of 17th. In the season opener at USA International Speedway in Lakeland, Florida, Henderson advanced from his 25th place qualifying effort to capture that finishing position in the teams debut.

Two months later, Henderson headed to Kentucky Speedway, where he posted the tenth fastest qualifying lap, but an accident early in the race battling another competitor landed the team with a very disappointing 40th place finish.

"Unfortunately, we (Henderson Motorsports) won't be returning to the American Speed Association next season, but we've enjoyed the events that we have competed in this season. With this being our final event, we look to leave nothing on the table and land our EXP4 machine in victory lane."

As far the 2005 racing season, Henderson's plans are still somewhat in the air. "I'll probably be doing some ARCA and Busch events next season with TC Motorsports, but how many and what events are still unknown. If I had the opportunity to return to ASA next season with another team, I would be more than interested, it's just a wait and see game."

The World Financial Group 150 is the 14th and final event on the 2004 American Speed Association season. Practice, and qualifying are on tap Thursday, October 28th, 2004 with the 60 lap/92.40 miles feature set for Friday, October 29th, 2004 shortly after 9:00 PM EST.
