Eagle Motorsports/Joey Dennewitz announce ASA Late Model Series

Akron, OH based Eagle Motorsports team owner Don Lucas and Akron native Joey Dennewitz announced their intention to complete a full schedule in the 2005 ASA Late Model Series.

"We are looking forward to the challenge of racing for the 2005 Rookie of the Year title. Our sponsors and I have high expectations in putting the # 21 ASA Late Model up front", said Lucas.

An accomplished driver, winning seven championships at four separate levels of competition, Dennewitz also maintains a 3.0 GPA while pursuing a Public Relations degree from The University of Akron.

"I feel fortunate to be a part of this program at Eagle Motorsports. The ASA Late Model Series is the fastest growing short track late model series in the country. To be on some of the most demanding racetracks with some of the most talented drivers in the midwest is a challenge I am looking forward to."

The challenge will be great, but the expectations are greater. Eagle Motorsports and Joey Dennewitz have a long history of success, yet the focus is turned squarely on the future as the ASA Late Model Series kicks off May 7th at Baer Field Speedway in Fort Wayne, IN.
