Travis Sauter has announced that he will once again run a limited number of events in the ASA Late Model Series. He will try to add his name, like all of his other family members, with some ASA wins.

Travis will also compete full time in the ASA Late Model Division at Madison International Speedway vying for the championship.

Although it is sometimes challenging to have such high expectations placed on you, Travis is ready to answer the calling. "I haven't been handed anything in my first few seasons in motorsports. My dad has always wanted me to work on my own cars and learn how the racing business operates. I gained a tremendous amount of knowledge from his career and from Johnny," commented Travis.

Travis is the son of 1999 ASA National Tour Champion Tim Sauter. Travis began his racing career in 2002, making appearances in the Super Stock division at Wisconsin Dells Motor Speedway. He also made a showing in Oktoberfest at LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway. In 2004 Travis ran select races with the ASA Late Model Series.

The 2005 ASA Late Model Series hold much promise for this talented young man who looks forward to competing in a number of the events this year.
