1. The 2nd annual Alamo 200 Entry Form is Now Available. San Antonio (TX) Speedway awaits the ASALMS Challenge Division.

Lexington, Michigan (02/08/2007): The Fifth Anniversary 2007 Season in the ASA Late Model Series Presented by GM Performance Parts is fast approaching as the 2007 schedules within all three divisions of the ASALMS are complete in all three divisions. The first race of the 2007 season is now just three weeks away and a sure sign of the racing season is that entry forms are now available!

The crown jewel of the ASALMS, the Challenge Division, will kick off the 2007 season for the entire ASALMS for the Fifth Anniversary Campaign on Friday and Saturday March 2-3, 2007. The series "Where Champions Race" will begin the ASALMS Fifth Anniversary season with the running of the 2nd annual Alamo 200 and the entry form for the first race of the 2007 Season is now available.

With 2006 ASALMS Challenge Division Champion and Pat Bourdow Memorial Rookie of the Year, Kelly Bires now moved on with the Wood Brothers JTG Racing Team and competing for the Rookie of the Year title in the NASCAR Craftsman Trucks Series for the 2007 season, this will guarantee that there will be no repeat champion in the ASALMS Challenge Division for the 2007 season.

The cars and stars of the ASALMS Challenge Division will draw open the curtain on the 2007 season at the fast 0.500 Mile High-Banked Paved Oval of the San Antonio (TX) Speedway in San Antonio, Texas on Friday and Saturday March 2-3, 2007 for the running of the 2nd annual Alamo 200. The first of 11 Points Races, 12 Overall on the 2007 ASALMS Challenge Division Schedule, will pay a larger than normal purse to kick off the ASALMS Fifth Anniversary Season. A whopping $10,000 is on the line with $1,000 just to start the 200-lap Feature.

Joining the ASALMS Challenge Division during the Alamo 200 race weekend in the Lone Star State will be the SAS Regular Weekly Divisions of Sportsmen and Road Runners along with the Traveling USRA Modifieds Series and the Texas Pro Sedans Series, who all will be running in their respective 2007 season openers as well.

Please get the 2nd annual Alamo 200 Entry Form into the ASALMS home offices in Lexington, Michigan by Friday February 23, 2007 to avoid the late fees.

2. The Gator 100 Presented by Pennzoil Entry Form is Now Available. Bronson (FL) Motor Speedway awaits the ASALMS Southern Division.

Lexington, Michigan (02/08/2007): The Fifth Anniversary 2007 Season in the ASA Late Model Series Presented by GM Performance Parts is drawing closer as the 2007 schedule within the ASALMS Southern Division is complete and teams are currently planning their hotel arrangements and travel schedules for the upcoming 2007 season. A definite sign of the racing season is near is that the entry form for the first race of the year is now available!

12 events are on tap for the ASALMS Southern Division and spreading from Florida to Missouri to Tennessee. 11 of the 12 shows are points events for the 2007 ASALMS Southern Division Championship as the quest to dethrone 2006 ASALMS Southern Division Champion and Rookie of the Year, James Buescher begins on Friday and Saturday March 16-17, 2007.

The entry form for the Gator 100 Presented by Pennzoil is now available. The ASALMS Southern Division will begin their highly anticipated schedule for the second year in a row in the month of March. Unlike the 2006 season however, the ASALMS Southern Division opener will not open the season for the entire ASALMS, that's in San Antonio, Texas the first weekend in March for the ASALMS Challenge Division.

The 2007 Door Opener for the ASALMS Southern Division will however be the second overall race of the ASALMS Fifth Anniversary Season. The cars and stars of the ASALMS Southern Division will open their 2007 season for the second year in a row at the fast 0.333 Mile High-Banked paved oval of the Bronson (FL) Motor Speedway, located West of Gainesville, in Bronson, Florida on Friday and Saturday March 16-17, 2007 for the running of the Gator 100 Presented by Pennzoil.

Later this season, the ASALMS Southern Divison will make their first ever appearance at the fast 0.500 Mile High-Banked Paved Oval on Saturday June 23, 2007 for the Florida 125, the fourth race of the 2007 season.
