1. The famed Music City (TN) Motorplex awaits the ASALMS Challenge Division for Race Number Two; The Music City Spring Clash 200.

Lexington, Michigan (03/24/2007): The Fifth Anniversary 2007 Racing Season within the crown jewel of the ASA Late Model Series Presented by GM Performance Parts, the Challenge Division has started as Race Number Two on the 2007 Calender is fast approaching as is Race number Three just two weekends after that.

The Cars and Stars of the ASALMS Challenge Division will focus their efforts on Race Number Two on the 2007 Schedule first. Only one track throughout the 2007 season will have the unique opportunity to see the cars and stars from all three divisions within the ASALMS in one setting; That's in November during the 25th annual All-American 400 Weekend, but first things first, the ASALMS Challenge Division will close out the month of March with the crown jewel of the ASALMS' second race of the 2007 campaign.

The ASALMS Challenge Division will be a part of the 2nd annual Spring Clash Weekend, which kicks off the 2007 season at the Music City (TN) Motorplex, located in Nashville, Tennessee on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday March 30-31, and April 1, 2007.

The ASALMS Challenge Division will headline the weekend on Friday and Saturday March 30-31, 2007 with the running of the Music City Spring Clash 200, while on Sunday the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modifieds Tour and CRA Super Series finish off the action packed weekend with twin 150-lap Features. Overall 500 laps of Feature racing will give the great fans in the Volunteer State plenty of action to kick off their 2007 season.

2. Five Flags (FL) Speedway has new ownership.

(NOTE: This Release was in the Pensacola News Journal on Friday March 23, 2007 prior to their 2007 Season Opener) (The ASA Late Model Series Challenge Division Season Championships will be hosted by the Five Flags Speedway on Friday and Saturday September 28-29, 2007.)

Pensacola, Florida (03/24/2007): At Five Flags Speedway tonight, more than a new racing season will begin. It also is the start of a new era. After being the track general manager for the past three years, Tim Bryant now is the track's co-owner, after his family completed the purchase of the speedway Thursday from the Tom Dawson family.

The venerable half-mile oval, located off Pine Forest Road, is filled with four decades of history, headlined by some of the sport's greatest drivers traveling to compete at the high-banked, short-track facility.

"It's almost overwhelming," said Bryant, whose family business, Bryant Racing Equipment in Navarre, has been the track's tire and parts supplier since 1978. "We also feel a tremendous obligation taking on this race track to continue providing a place for fans and drivers to enjoy racing."

The Bryant family purchased the track for its appraised value, which was undisclosed. Dawson, who died in 2005, had owned the track since 1969 after moving from Ohio. He is credited for starting the popular Snowball Derby, the signature event at Five Flags, that celebrates its 40th anniversary race in December. The winner of that race receives the Tom Dawson Trophy.

3. Terry's Ford inks sponsorship deal with T.K. Racing and Eddie Hoffman beginning at Nashville in the Music City Spring Clash 200.

Wheaton, Illinois (03/24/2007): Wheaton, Illinois veteran, Eddie Hoffman, the Perennial favorite to win the Music City Spring Clash at the Music City (TN) Motorplex in Nashville, Tennessee on Saturday March 31, 2007 and his team; T.K. Racing has signed a Two-Year Sponsorship Agreement with Terry's Ford of Peotone, Illinois.

The Terry's Ford logo will proudly be displayed on the T.K. Racing Ford Fusion beginning this weekend in Music City. The sponsorship was agreed upon by principal owner of Terry's Ford, Terry Kunes and T.K. Racing Owner, Tom Kmak.

Kmak is excited about the opportunity to work with Kunes. "I've known Terry for a long time, and if there's anything to know it's that when he gets involved in something he does it at 100%." Stated Kmak soon after agreeing to the sponsorship deal.

Terry Kunes owns multiple businesses including Terry's Lincoln Mercury in Orland Park, Illinois. Terry's RV Center in Frankfort, Illinois. Hearthside Homebuilders in Homer Glen, Illinois and the Madison International Speedway in Oregon, Wisconsin.

4. Allen-Hock Motorsports Driver, Keeton Hanks craves some Nashville seconds.

Auburn, Kentucky (03/24/2007): When Keeton Hanks first visited the historic Music City Motorplex, he took to the track instantly like a duck to water. The 17-year-old qualified in the top five for last year's ASA Late Model Series portion of the All-American 400 weekend as several good teams loaded up without making the race. His qualifying lap wasn't just a fluke either. Hanks backed it up by finishing fifth.

Now, Hanks is coming back for Music City seconds, as his Allen-Hock Motorsports team prepares for the March 31st ASA Late Model Challenge Series event at the Nashville track. "I am really looking forward to going back to Nashville," said Hanks. "It is a track that I have definitely had some good luck on. I am really excited about what we could do there this year. The whole team is really looking forward to it."

"In 2006, I ran at Music City Motorplex in my own car and I finished in the fifth spot. I was really happy to finish up front in my first All American 400, so I think that I definitely have enough laps to know what it is going to take throughout the race to get the job done. Another top-five would be really good next weekend."

"This year we are heading to Nashville with our new team Allen-Hock Motorsports team. It will be a totally different package than what we drove last year and the team is really great. I think that we still have as good of a chance as we did before."
