American Speed Association Signs Hill For Midwest Tour

DAYTONA BEACH, FL (March 15, 2007) -- The American Speed Association Kwik Trip Midwest Tour presented by Echo Outdoor Power Equipment has signed 22-year-old Brandon Hill from Lake Geneva, WI as a competitor for the 2007 inaugural season.

Hill competed the past four seasons in the Super Late Model division at the Lake Geneva Raceway after five years in go-karts and is excited about the Tour. Having been displaced by the tracks closure at the conclusion of the 2006 season, he and fellow LGR competitor Mark Hartline (Gilberts, IL) are ready to look forward. "The traveling is going to be nice -- not having to be part of the weekly grind of racing. I'm ready to race at some different tracks," Hill explained.

ASAMT President Tim Olson is excited to see Hill's name added to the roster, commenting, "Brandon is a spirited driver and he will be fun to watch run for Rookie of the Year with the Tour. I am also very happy to see that he is going to be supporting the Educational Series and helping a group of young students have the chance to earn scholarships."

Hill is employed in the shipping department at Five Star Race Car Bodies. Outside of racing, he enjoys watching NASCAR, bowling, fishing, and hanging out with friends. Brandon's Uncle Ron owns the racecar while his father William is the crew chief. The Hill's enjoy the fame of their last name created on television, going by nicknames Hank (father) and Bobby (son) Hill. "I would just really like to thank my Uncle Ron for all his help. If it weren't for him, I couldn't do what I love doing, and that's being a racecar driver," Brandon added.

More information about Brandon Hill is available by calling (262) 749-0888.

Hill will be making his debut at the ASA Midwest Tour inaugural season opener at Elko Speedway April 28, 2007.
