Ken Schrader first in list of NASCAR stars to race at Ohsweken Speedway
Kyle Larson, Rico Abreu to compete at Ohsweken Speedway’s 3/8-mile, high-banked clay oval track in July.






Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series’ star Kyle Larson and dirt racing legend Rico Abreu will race at the high-banked oval during the Burger Barn Northern Summer Nationals on July 24 and in the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series Six Nations Showdown presented by Arrow Express on July 25.
Kyle Larson, 24, is a former open-wheel dirt racing standout turned Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series' star. He is currently second in the NASCAR Cup Series' point standings and has four career wins with the World of Outlaws.
The 25-year-old Rico Abreu is a former Midgets and Sprint Cars top runner. Abreu won the 29th and 30th annual Chili Bowl Midget Nationals in Tulsa, Okla. in 2015 and 2016, the biggest of more than 90 open-wheel wins in his young career. Abreu also has six World of Outlaws victories in part-time competition with the Series.

Last Friday night, NASCAR Legend Ken Schrader visited the Canadian speedway located in Ontario with the UMP Modifieds on Club 54 Tobacco night.
Ken Schrader won in his visit to Ohsweken last July while South Buxton Raceway driver Eugene Hoekstra won the division’s date last September. The 700+ horsepower UMP Modifieds always provide an amazing show to the fans every time they race.
Schrader won his heat race and finished second to Joel Dick in the A-Feature event at the track.
