Potomac will be back in action on Saturday, September 21st. This will be the final points race of the season for all divisions. The Ronnie McBee Memorial will be run at this time. This will also be the 7th and final points race of the popular ITSI Super Late Model Race Series. Super Late Models will not run for double points. All other divisions, Late Model, Street Stock, 4 Cylinder, Hobby Stock and Bombers will run for double points. You won't want to miss this final race, which will determine the points champions for each division.

The next weekend, September 28th, will find the annual 100 Lap Hobby/Bomber Championship taking place on the track. Rules are open to all tracks and all cars will have an unmodified 350 CMF Carburetor Max. Also, Spectator Drag races and a Roll Over Contest are on the agenda.

Potomac will wrap up the season the following weekend, October 4th & 5th, with the popular season finale, the Southern Maryland Nationals 2002. This exciting event pits Pure Street cars from all over the east coast running for a $1,500 to win first place prize. Limited Late Models will vie for $800 to win, while 4 Cylinders go after a $500 top prize. Classic Cars will also run each night, Bombers on Friday only and Vintage Cars on Saturday only.
