Lapainis wins Modified main.

Jeremy Lapainis of Airdrie got a taste of victory in the Auto Value I.M.C.A. Modified division at Race City last week and obviously liked it because the young driver repeated the feat in tonight's 40 lap Modified main. Ben Ottenhof of Calgary tried everything he could think of to get past Lapainis but had to settle for second. Jason Beaulieu of Campbell River, BC, the defending Canadian Modified champion, was third.

Shawn White continued his winning streak in the Alpine Upholstery Mini Stock class tonight. On a restart, White moved his #44 Toyota into position to challenge leader David Gardiner. By lap 18, White had the point and led for the rest of the 25 lap main.

Dave Jensen won the Bomber main, followed by Rod Huseby and Ryan Fee.
