Johnson Components (J.C.I.) sponsors Allison Legacy National Race at San Antonio Speedway.

Johnson Components, Inc. a manufacturer of open wall panels for residential, multi family and commercial buildings will sponsor the Allison Legacy Series J.C.I. 100 at the ½ mile San Antonio Speedway in San Antonio, Texas on Saturday night, May 18, 2002. Over twenty five cars are expected to be in competition including the 2002 National Points Leader Chad McCumbee and a host of front running drivers from the Texas Legacy and STARS Legacy Series of Texas. Drivers entering the event will represent more than eight states.

Frank Johnson, founder and owner of J.C.I., fields the #16 Legacy car in the STARS Region of South Texas. An Alabama native, Johnson has a passion for racing and is a seasoned racer making San Antonio Speedway his home track. "I am proud to sponsor the Allison Legacy National Race" says Johnson whose fifteen year old son William has been making hot laps in his #9 Legacy car getting ready for his debut in the series later on in the season.

The National Touring Series goes to Ocala Speedway in Florida on June 1, 2002 for their next National Event.
