Steve Dale Motorsports to Run Purple Special Edition Car
The No. 83 Thanks Its Sponsors with New Paint Scheme

ATLANTA (May 2, 2001) - The Steve Dale Motorsports team has spent the past few days "mixing it up" at their shop in Monroe, Georgia. The team is not having a party, but they have been mixing up a batch of purple paint to be used on this weekend's No. 83 Zaxby's/NAPA Auto Parts Chevrolet Monte Carlo.

The violet-hued paint scheme will make its debut this weekend for the American Speed Association (ASA) Actionline 300 at the Montgomery (Ala.) Motor Speedway. The special edition Chevrolet Monte Carlo will be run on a limited basis throughout the 2001 season as a special "thank you" to Steve Dale Motorsports' sponsors, Zaxby's Real Chicken and NAPA Auto Parts.

With a vibrant new color, the Steve Dale Motorsports organization hopes to gain a little extra attention for their key business partners. The purple car will be a strong backdrop for the decals of Zaxby's Real Chicken, NAPA Auto Parts, Racing Radios, Pro Shocks and Quaker State.

"The car was designed to provide maximum brand exposure for our sponsors, Zaxby's and NAPA," stated Steve Dale Motorsports owner, Steve Dale. "Without their help, we could never be a top contender each week and in prime position to claim the 2001 American Speed Association Series Championship."
