ADVANCE AUTO PARTS MODIFIED SUPER DIRT SERIES TO RETURN TO BREWERTON SPEEDWAY ON WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 31ST

BREWERTON, NY...The Advance Auto Parts Modified Super DIRT Series will return to Brewerton Speedway on Wednesday, August 31. It will be the first Big Block Super DIRT Series race at the D-shaped DIRT Demon since the 2001 season. The event is sure to be a tremendous one with the talented Brewerton Speedway drivers taking on the best of the invaders from the series.

Tim McCreadie won the last ever Advance Auto Parts Super DIRT Series race at Brewerton Speedway in 2001. Bob McCreadie is the only double winner in series events at the D-shaped DIRT Demon. Brett Hearn, Danny Johnson and Joe Plazek complete the winners list in the special events. All the previous winners are expected in competition with the exception of Plazek.

Brewerton Speedway regular Tim Fuller is the current leader in the Advance Auto Parts Super DIRT Series standings. Brett Hearn, Billy Decker, Gary Tomkins, Pat Ward, Steve Paine, Matt Sheppard, Alan Johnson, Justin Haers, Chad Brachmann, Stewart Friesen, Jimmy Phelps, Vic Coffey, Tom Sears and Andy Bachetti complete the top 15 in the current standings.

Brewerton Speedway pit gates on Wednesday, August 31 will open at 4:30 p.m. Grandstand gates will open at 5 p.m. Race competition will start at 7:30 p.m. There are no advance sale tickets. The only reserved seats will be season reserved seats which are painted orange. No blankets will be allowed down until 5 p.m. Adult admission will be $20. Children ages 10-14 will be admitted for $10. All those nine years and under are free.

The Lias Tire Empire State IMCA Modified Series event will join the Advance Auto Parts Super DIRT Series event. The two division race program promises to be a fan friendly one. The IMCA Modified competitors will be racing for both Brewerton Speedway track points as well as the Lias Tire series points. The DIRT Modified competitors will be racing for Advance Auto Parts series points and all Brewerton regulars will be awarded 40 show-up points in the season track total.
