Notes: Dave Kuhlman started the 35-lap feature from the outside front row. Kuhlman beat Don St. Denis by nearly a half lap. Only one caution marred the feature when Dale Tanner and Steve Cronenwett crashed into the turn two wall. Both drivers were unhurt but their mounts were done for the night.

Figure 8's Heat: Greg Studt Feature: Studt, Jeremy Miller, Ricky Kargel, Ken Ahlgren, Danny Leppen, Vern Okopski Jr., Eric Buck, Dave Lambert, Dennis Whisman
