Danny Jackson to Take Part in Mansfield Race Fest

Cincinnati, OH (May 19, 2008) - Danny Jackson will take his USAR Hooters Pro Cup Redbank Transport/Lykins Companies/Greased Lightning Monte Carlo to the Mansfield Race Fest on Thursday, May 22nd. The annual event is the kick-off to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Ohio 250 at Mansfield Motorsports Park this weekend.

Jackson will also take part in an autograph session and driver Q&A session that includes NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series drivers such as Jack Sprague, Johnny Benson and more. The Race Fest will take place in downtown Mansfield and begins at 5 p.m.

As Jackson heads to Mansfield, he is also preparing for the May 31st Sears Auto Center 150 at the Milwaukee Mile. Jackson finished 23rd in his last appearance at South Boston, VA. Jackson had a good run going at South Boston until the rains came and halted the show.

Jackson has not been on the one-mile asphalt oval before, but is confident that he will adapt quickly. "This will be the biggest track I have raced on, but I think we have a good set up and should qualify well." This race is a Northern and Southern Division race and will feature the fastest 16 Northern and 16 Southern division cars. Jackson has been out of the car since South Boston and is anxious to get back on the track on a regular basis. "It's been a long month or so and I am ready to get going again. It should be a fun weekend for the fans and sponsors."
