"Good Run At Lakeland Crucial For Johnson Motorsports"

LAKELAND, Fla (March 7, 2007) - - United Speed Alliance Racing (USAR) Hooter's Pro Cup Series veteran Daniel Johnson has been eagerly waiting for this weekend since the end of the 2006 racing season, which saw the North Carolina native blossom into the spotlight taking a mid-pack operation into contending mode.

A lot has transpired since the conclusion of the season finale, with the changes hoping to put the Johnson Motorsports on top in Saturday's Sears Auto Center 200.

The team has joined forces with Shotime Motorsports combining resources and technology while still running under the Johnson Motorsports banner, utilizing Johnson's familiar No. 3.

"We could not be happier to be associated with Shotime Motorsports," said Johnson. "Both of our operations want to get into victory lane and I think by taking this stride and uniting our organizations as one, I think we have a good shot on Saturday night."

Charlotte Check Cashers will return as the primary sponsor of the No. 3 Ford Fusion this weekend. Charlotte Check Cashers was instrumental in the mid-season success of Johnson Motorsports easily persuading the North Carolina based company to reup their commitment to the USAR team.

In addition to Charlotte Check Cashers, Brandon Ford, the largest Ford dealership in the state of Florida located in Tampa will take the co-primary sponsorship role this weekend.

"Johnson Motorsports is excited to have Charlotte Check Cashers back on board this weekend while also welcoming Brandon Ford to our operation. We know that sponsorship is crucial in racing, but we feel like we've hit the jackpot with two great primary sponsors on board this weekend.

In addition to Charlotte Check Cashers and Brandon Ford, the team is pumped to have associate sponsorship from Casco Sign Company and Atlantic Coast Resorts.

"A big thanks to our associate sponsors for making the effort to get us to the track this weekend. Everyone little bit helps, but we are very appreciative of their efforts and their support of our race team and we're looking forward to giving all of our sponsors a good run this weekend."
