Rogers grabs Advanced Auto Parts Pole Award and Track Record

Saturday, February 28, 2004 - Lakeland, FL--Clay Rogers won the Advanced Auto Parts Pole Award for tonight's running of the Lucas Oil 250 presented Hooters Air. Rogers lap of 21.725 seconds at 124.281 mph bested Bobby Gill's lap of 21.823 seconds for the pole position and broke the track record set by Shane Huffman last season. Joe Gaita will start third, while Buggy Pletcher starts fourth. Brad Rogers will start his first Hooters ProCup Series event from the fifth spot.
