FAULK IMPRESSES WITH FIFTH PLACE FINISH
"Driver Jumps Into Rookie Points Lead"

JEFFERSON, GA (April 18, 2005) -- Michael Faulk and his MB3 Motorsports team are starting to show positive signs of growth as a rookie driver and team. They took another step in that direction on Saturday night as Faulk put on an impressive performance in piloting his No. 53 "Liftoff" by Herbalife™ Ford to a fifth place finish in the running of the Aaron's 250 at the Peach State Speedway.

"Our car was just awesome all day out there," stated Faulk. "It is very good to come home with a top five finish but we could have had an even better finish. It took my car about four to five laps for it to really come in and those last few cautions late in the race cost us a little as we didn't have enough time to chase down those cars in front of us. But it was a great day -- a strong qualifying finish and a clean race with a top five finish -- these are the type of runs that I was looking for coming into this season."

The 23-year old rookie started the day with his best qualifying effort of the season by putting down a lap of 18.830 seconds which was good enough for the fourth starting spot on the 32 car grid. The drop of the green flag for the 250 lap event saw Faulk and his No. 53 Ford hold strong inside the top ten for the first half of the event as he logged valuable laps with the leaders. He would bring his "Liftoff" machine down pit road for the only time of the event on lap 116 where he received four fresh tires and fuel and returned to action in the ninth position. The second half of the event saw Faulk patiently work his way up through the field and bring it home with a last lap pass for the fifth place finish.

The fifth place finish earned Faulk the Miller Lite Rookie of the Race for the second race in a row. It also propelled him into the lead for the highly contested Rookie of the Year race. The finish also moved the 23-year old rookie up five spots in the standings into the 12th position -- 61 points out of the 10th spot.

Faulk and his MB3 Motorsports team debuted the "Liftoff" effervescent energy drink as a new look on their #53 Ford at Peach State. The new dietary supplement from Herbalife was launched earlier in the week at a company convention in Atlanta. "Liftoff" is the first portable energy drink with a body-mind boost. The new product is a zero sugar, zero calories and one carb nutritious energy drink with vitamins.

"This is a blast", added Faulk. "I am having the most fun of my racing career this season and it is still early in the year. This program is starting to come around and all of the hard work put into this new deal is starting to show these last two races. I am confident we can keep this positive momentum going and I think we will contend each week out there and win us a race or two. The big picture for me is still to win this tough battle for the Rookie of the Year and make a strong showing in the Championship Series and I have the team and ability to do that."

Faulk and his team will have no time to enjoy their finish as they head to Concord Motorsports Park this weekend for the next event -- the Turn 4 Pizza presented by Tucson on Saturday night.
