Pittsboro, NC, (January 9, 2002)-Premiere Motorsports is proud to announce that Andrew Medlin, a twenty one-year-old of Largo, Florida will be campaigning the USAR Hooters Pro Cup car owned by Steve Husketh. Medlin began his racing career as most up and coming drivers, driving go-karts and late model stock cars.
Premiere Motorsports is also proud to announce a multi-year deal with major associate sponsor Aneco. Multi-year contracts have also been signed for associate sponsorships with General Electric and Lighting and Power.
"We are proud to have these strong associate sponsors on board with our program that is sure to deliver success. It is an honor to have such a talented rookie join our program such as Andrew Medlin, and we are excited about the 2002 racing season" Husketh said.
Premiere Motorsports and Steve Husketh will also announce a multi-year major sponsor at the end of next week. After the announcement of the new associate sponsors, Husketh was quoted as saying: "Our program at Premiere Motorsports with Andrew Medlin, Aneco, General Electric, Lighting & Power and our new major sponsor to be announced next week, in our mind will be the strongest program within USAR Hooters Pro Cup. Premiere Motorsports have plans to run a limited Busch and/or Cup schedule by 2003. We are very excited with these partnerships!"
