Mardy Lindley Racing and ShoTime Motorsports are in flight together as the Hooters Air Racing Team with the destination being the USAR Hooters Pro Cup Championship
Concord, NC--ShoTime Motorsports has signed Mardy Lindley to drive in the Northern Division of the Hooters Pro Cup Series in 2005.
"Our plans for the 2005 season started to change about a week ago when I was informed by our previous driver that he put together a different program for himself for the 2005 season, and my phone started ringing immediately," says Mike Kurkowski, owner of ShoTime Motorsports. "One of our options was to talk further with Mardy Lindley about working together to develop an extremely competitive race team, and after many phone calls, days of meetings to work out the details, and a trip to our sponsors headquarters, we have put it all together. I believe that all things eventually work out for the good, and this is good, no, very good!"
Lindley will retain Hooters Air as his sponsor.
"I'm ecstatic and can't wait to get going" states Mardy, "with the new Billy Hess Race Cars and new engines being built by Automotive Specialists, ShoTime Motorsports equipment is second to none. Having Hooters Air again as our sponsor and Jimmy King as my Crew Chief, this is going to be one strong partnership."
Mike Troxell, Managing Partner with ShoTime Motorsports and responsible for marketing and public relations says, "I've been involved in many aspects of racing, including high profile teams, this deal is as good as anything I've been involved with. I'm extremely excited about the opportunity to work with Mardy, and our options to grow our team are endless."
