April 23, 2004 -- (Memphis, MO) - Team RaceRPM.com drivers Corey Dripps and Dan Bohr head to Scotland County Speedway (Memphis, MO) April 23 and 24 for a double-dip weekend with United States Modified Touring Series.

Corey Dripps (Cedar Falls, IA) will be racing in a modified owned by Rob Jorgenson while the AFCO Racing, Real Racing Wheels number "31" modified has work completed on the new Specialty Motorsports, Inc. chassis.

"I drove their car Wednesday night at Southern Iowa (Speedway)," stated Dripps. "I was really surprised how well I adjusted to the car. I usually can't get comfortable that quickly with a new four-bar car."

"The only change we made was the front shocks," remembers Dripps. "They've got their stuff together. That's why we were probably able to win the feature that night."

A last minute decision for the Dan Bohr Race Team found the G&K Services, Innovative Signs, Bob Pierce Race Car number "66" at the Peoria Speedway last Saturday night. After starting shotgun on the field, Dan Bohr (Decorah, IA) worked his way through heavy traffic on the tight quarter-mile to a tenth place finish.

"I'll take a top ten at a track we've never been to before," said Bohr. "Obviously every time you go out onto the track, you want to win, but we started in the back row Saturday night. Some times you have to just take what you're given."
