Chennai II Vento Cup: Dodhiwala takes Race 1 pole
Championship leader Ishaan Dodhiwala claimed pole position for the the third round of Vento Cup, beating his nearest rival Karminder Singh by two tenths of a second.

Dodhiwala led qualifying throughout, taking the top spot on the grid with a time of 1m55.821s, the only driver to dip into the 1m55's.
Last year’s runners-up Singh finished 0.241s behind Dodhiwala settling for second place, with Keith Desouza ending third. The two drivers were separated by just 0.019s in qualifying.
Behind, Aditya Pawar qualified in fourth place, as the top four were covered within a second of each other.
Top rookie driver Jeet Jhabakh was fifth, the Hyderabadi sharing the third row with new Vento Cup race winner Niranjan Todkari.
Guest racer Dhruv Behl was seventh fastest, ahead of Hatim Shabbir with Pradeep Rao and Amit Mete completing the top 10.
