Kevin Allen, an SCCA G-Production standout for the past 4 years, has been signed as the driver of the #44 Eagle Racing Chevrolet Camaro. The team's headquarters are located in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Although not a well-known name to Trans-Am fans, Kevin has proven time and time again that he knows his way around a racetrack. For the past 17 years, Kevin has been winning in everything from NHRA and WKA to Outlaw KARTS and HSR. In fact, in his last 4 seasons of G-Production SCCA racing, Kevin has posted 27 poles and 19 wins, including a 2nd and two 3rd place finishes at the Valvoline Runoffs.

The team is serious about the Trans-Am Series, and no one more than Kevin. "Every since I got in a road racing car, all I've ever wanted to do was become a Trans-Am driver. I don't see Trans-Am as a stepping-stone for me; this has always been my goal, to reach the Trans-Am Series. This is the top as far as I'm concerned."

The team is gearing up for a serious run at Rookie-of-the-Year honors, and with Kevin's vast experience at Sebring (including track records on both the short and long courses), the team can't wait for the season opener on March 16th.

The team will begin its charge in Sebring fielding a Chevrolet Camaro, but all are anxious to take delivery on the 2001 body style Corvette they have on order with Derhaag Motorsports.

The 2001 Eagle Racing Crew will include several SCCA Club Racing standouts, including Crew Chief Chip Bailey of SC, Adam Malley of GA, Joe Smith of FL, and engine management from Rick Cline of FL.
