Fix makes big jump in Drivers Points Standings! Here comes Detroit!
Paul Fix (#77 Classic Tube Ford Mustang) has moved from 31st in the standings to 21st on the basis of a solid 12th place finish at Mosport. Fix ran several laps in the top-five midway through the race and as high as second place. He currently is tied for 3rd in Rookie Points.
Fix Motorsports has boosted their efforts since their entry to Trans-Am last year, and the results have shown consistent improvement with every race. With a 12th place finish at the last event in Mosport, Canada; the team is working together toward a common goal of better, stronger finishes. "The car and team have improved dramatically. "Our showing at the Detroit Grand Prix this weekend is important to the big picture!"
The race will air on CBS Sports on Sunday, June 17 at 5:00pm.
