DETROIT - June 15, 2002 - This month's Mid-Ohio Grand Prix will be full of the usual excitement and festivities. But one team in the popular Trans-Am Series will be involved in a unique program of helping others.

Revolution Motorsports, along with The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) continues their unique partnership. The program is designed to locate missing kids through exposure on the racecar and in the media.

Last season, the team's participation was cited when a 7-year old Michigan girl, featured on the hood of driver Don Sak's [now Revolution Motorsports] car at the Detroit Grand Prix, was returned to her father. It was noted that a tip from a race fan led authorities to Mexico where the child had been taken.

"It was an awesome feeling to see the smiles on their faces," commented Sak. "I am proud to have been associated with such a wonderful experience."

For the June 29th Mid-Ohio event Sak's son, Bobby, will be driving the #10 Revolution Motorsports Corvette. The car will feature the picture of three missing girls, Brittany, Kaitlynn and Tiffany.

Brittany, Kaitlynn and Tiffany were abducted by their non-custodial mother, Laura Marie Blackmon. A felony warrant was issued for the abductor on 2/28/02. They may have traveled to Mexico, or to the Canal Winchester, Lithopolis, or Lancaster, Ohio areas. Brittany has a scar on the palm of her left hand and her nickname is Britt. Kaitlynn has scars on her arms and legs and her nickname is Katie. Tiffany has a scar on her forehead and wears braces on her teeth. All three children may be in need of medical attention. The abductor has a tattoo on her right ankle and a scar on her cheek.

Anyone having information should contact the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at 1-800-843-5678 (1-800-THE-LOST) or Pickering Police Department (Ohio) - 1-614-837-2330

The Trans-Am Series for the BFGoodrich Tires Cup appears at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio for the Grand Prix of Mid-Ohio. The race is Saturday, June 29 and will air at 4pm on CBS Sports, [same day tape delay].

In association with Trenton Forging, Revolution Motorsports will campaign two 2002 Chevrolet Corvettes as part of the Trans-Am Series for the BF Goodrich Cup.
