Baucom Motorsports rolls to Road America with renewed vigor, 3 new partners.

When Baucom Motorsports unloads the #86 Jaguar XKR for round 8 of the Trans-Am series for the BFGoodrich tires cup, it will be with a renewed vigor and 3 new marketing partners.

'We are pleased to have MAP Quality Engineering, Northwest Analytical and Software Toolbox as marketing partners with us for both Road America and Denver" reports Scott Matre. We really feel that this is a marketing partnership that will bear fruit for all involved." "The Trans-Am series has long had a history of an established fan base and corporate involvement in the industrial information marketplace, Banner Engineering, Cutler-Hammer, and of course, Automation Direct have all experienced results from their involvement.".

Alan Culpepper, crew chief says "In addition to our new partners, we have been working hard on suspension set-up, trying to get a handle on balance throughout the race. We've tried some new ideas with respect to spring rates and sway bar settings, we hope to give Johnny Miller (Eaton Cutler-Hammer, Automation Direct Jaguar XK-R) some competition for both fan mindshare and track position." John Baucom explains it as a partnership in more ways than one. "MAP and Northwest Analytical have some deep expertise in statistical analysis and we have been working with them to analyze our telemetry data." " It was kind-of a natural for all involved"
