Delhi T1 Prima: Singh and Nagarjuna emerge winners in Indian class
Jagat Singh and Nagarjuna A emerged victorious in their respective batches of Indian drivers in the Tata T1 Prima Truck Racing Championship at the Buddh International Circuit.

The 12 drivers chosen from among the 17 shortlisted were divided into two groups of six for the two races held.
While Singh took win in the first batch earlier in the day, Nagarjuna took the honours in the second and final race for the Indian truck drivers.
In batch 1, Haryana’s Singh led from start to finish to take a dominant victory, beating Malkeet Singh of Uttar Pradesh by a mammoth margin of 15.744s in the eight-lap race.
Rajkumar Mahato and MD Parvez both gained one position each to finish third and fourth respectively, demoting second-row starter Rabinder Yadav to fifth place.
Karnataka’s Syed Akram Pasha propped up the timesheets, finishing over 35s behind race winner Jagat.
Later in batch 2, Nagarjuna took the chequered flag comfortably, beating pole-sitter Bhag Chand by nearly five seconds.
Anand finished a distant third, retaining his starting position to secure the final spot on the podium.
Behind, Jitendra Singh, Bacchu Singh and MD Iliyas fought for the fourth spot, with Jitendra eventually coming on top.
