SAY IT, CARDEY - CARDEY -- CARDEY -- CARDEY! FOUR STRAIGHT WINS AT PERRIS AUTO SPEEDWAY!

(AUGUST 3, 2010, RIVERSIDE, CA) Before a large and enthusiastic crowd, Riverside, California's "Dynamite" David Cardey continued to astonish the Sprint Car world when he won his fourth straight USAC/CRA Sprint Car main event at Perris Auto Speedway last Saturday night, July 31st.

The veteran racer began the night by qualifying 6th in the 27-car field. He came from the outside of the third row to finish third in his 10-lap heat race and thus earn a ticket into the first four rows invert.

When the main event field bumped off on the balmy Southern California night, the seven-year 410 Sprint Car veteran was on the inside of the second row. Once the 30-lapper began, he settled into third. By the time the race reached lap ten, Cardey was quite a way behind the second place car and a full straightaway behind the leader.

A yellow flag at the end of lap 12 began to turn the tide for the 34-year old speedster. Once the race returned to green, he quickly picked off second place and set his sights on the top spot. It took 12 tours around the brightly lit half-mile oval, but coming off turn two on lap 25, he slid inside the leader and took away the top spot much to the delight of his legion of fans. Over the final four laps he built a small, but comfortable lead to post his fourth straight USAC/CRA victory at The PAS.

Not only was the win Cardey's fourth in a row at The PAS, but it was his sixth in his last eight Southern California starts. In those eight races, he also has two wins at the Victorville Auto Raceway, a second in ASCS competition at The PAS and a seventh place finish at Victorville when he was forced out of a race with a blown radiator hose while running second.

Big news for David Cardey fans is coming up within the next 36 hours. Be sure to watch these spaces!
