SFR DEVELOPMENT DRIVER KYLE O'GARA HEADS WEST FOR TURKEY NIGHT GRAND PRIX

The 15-Year Old Indiana Native Will Start His 2nd National USAC Event in Southern California Thursday Night

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (November 24, 2010) -Sarah Fisher Racing (SFR) development driver, Kyle O'Gara, will participate in the Ford Focus Nationals, the preliminary event for the 70th running of USAC's Turkey Night Grand Prix at Toyota Speedway in Irwindale, California on Thanksgiving night, driving the No. 4 East Enterprises/SFR/Beast/Ford/Hoosier machine.

"I'm really looking forward to being on track in Irwindale this week," said a very enthusiastic O'Gara. "I've learned so much this season, and it's been a blast. I can't thank Andy and Sarah, Bob (East), and my crew chief, Dave (Newman), enough for giving me such a great opportunity. I'm hoping my blue No. 4 East Enterprises/SFR machine will be up front this week. I'm definitely going to being trying my hardest to keep it that way."

O'Gara, a sophomore at Roncalli High School in Indianapolis, placed fourth of 26 Ford Focus entries in the Henry Ford Sweepstakes Las Vegas USAC Ford Focus Nationals just two weeks ago. He finished up the overall USAC Midwest Ford Focus Series third in points of 56 drivers, after missing four events. The 15-year old qualified on the pole in the last two events of the regular season.

"We're really looking forward to Turkey Night," said Bob East. "Kyle had a good run in Vegas a couple of weeks ago and he has done a tremendous job this season as he continues to improve every race. I'm confident that he's capable of keeping the No. 4 at the front."

Kyle is one of only four drivers to compete in the Eastern, Midwest, and Western USAC divisions in 2010. He has enjoyed a remarkable rookie season in USAC, earning multiple top-five finishes, and is excited to take to the 1/3-mile oval for Turkey Night, looking for success to align once again.

"We're extremely proud of Kyle and all of his accomplishments during his rookie season in USAC," said SFR team owner Sarah Fisher, who will be making the trip to Southern California to be in attendance to watch O'Gara on track for Turkey Night. "I'm really excited that I am able to be there for this race, and I wish Kyle the best of luck. I have a good feeling about this one."
