AARON PIERCE TO DRIVE THE KROGER/TIDE/BOUNTY/PRINGLES HOFFMAN BEAST MOPAR SPRINT CAR AT RICHMOND INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY

Loveland Ohio (June 25, 2007)- Hoffman Auto Racing(HAR) announced today that current Silver Crown points leader Aaron Pierce will drive the Hoffman family car on June 29th at the Richmond International Raceway in Richmond Va.

Aaron Pierce began his career in 1998 in Legend and Kenyon midget cars. He moved up to full size midgets in 2000, winning the NAMARS "Rookie of the Year". Aaron's USAC career began in 2000 in midgets. His first career USAC Sprint Car win came in 2003. Aaron earned the Silver Crown" Rookie of the Year" title in 2004. Sam Pierce Racing competed in the inaugural year of the new Silver Crown Pavement series, with Aaron earning 2 wins and owning the speed record at Chicagoland(174.295 mph). The fasest driver in USAC Silver Crown history (175.102 mph at Homestead in 2006) is the points leader going into Richmond. He has a win already this year, in the May 10th race at Darlington S.C. Raceway.

"Dave Steele informed us after the race at ORP that he is taking a sabbatical from USAC racing . We enjoyed our time with David, and the Hoffman Team would like to thank him for his efforts. We were thrilled that a driver of Aaron's abilities was available . We had a very successful test at ORP both last Wednesday and Thursday with Aaron. We are also very happy to be able to build our relationship with Sam and Aaron Pierce beyond the Silver Crown series, " said Richard Hoffman, President of HAR.

Hoffman Auto Racing (HAR) competes in the Sprint Car and Silver Crown Divisions of the United States Auto Club (USAC). HAR was founded in 1929 by August (Gus) Hoffman. Three generations of Hoffman's are involved with the Team, including Gus's great grandchildren A.J. and Lauren, who have begun their quartermidget careers. HAR is the all time leader in USAC National Sprint Car Team victories with 68, and National Championships with 8. HAR also has 7 Silver Crown victories, for a total of 75 National wins. HAR celebrates 78 years of competition in 2007.
