CAMBY, Ind. -- Marc Jessup will lead the Jessup Racing team to the 3rd annual Buckeye Nationals this week with the USAC Valvoline National Sprint Car Series. Four straight nights starting on June 16th and running through June 19th Jessup will race on four different tracks, which should serve as a great challenge for the Jessup Racing team armed with their F5 chassis purchased by Bill Davis.

Jessup Racing gaining momentum on the dirt

The team has been gaining momentum coming off a top-10 finish at a recent USAC Valvoline National Sprint Car event at the Terre Haute Action Track in Terre Haute, Indiana. Jessup hopes to continue to run up front and get back into the top-10 in USAC Valvoline National Sprint Car points.

Similar to his roots

One track Jessup especially enjoys going back to this year is Attica Raceway Park. From Jessup's first glance at the track he likened it to the Paragon Speedway, where he first started driving sprint cars.

Final Tuneup for the Mopar Thunder Sprint Saturday

The USAC Valvoline National Sprint Car event at the Eldora Speedway will serve as the only tuneup for the non-wing sprint cars before the Mopar Thunder Sprint in August that will pay $50,000 to the winner. Last season, Jessup made the feature during the one and only Mopar Million, and has been improving with each visit to Eldora.

Jessup missed the feature at Eldora during the 2003 Buckeye Nationals, but rallied from that disappointment to make the 26-car field out of 138 competitors during the Mopar Million.
