2-NIGHT "HALL OF FAME CLASSIC" AT ANGELL PARK

Back-to-back nights of racing are scheduled at Angell Park Speedway in Sun Prairie, Wisc. this Saturday and Sunday as the annual "Hall of Fame Classic" showcases the finest Midget racing talent in the nation at one of the country's premier short tracks.

USAC Mopar National Midget Series point leader Brad Kuhn of Avon, Ind., last year's Sunday night "Hall of Fame" champion, enters the weekend with a 32-point lead over Brad Sweet in the battle for the 2009 USAC Mopar National title. Levi Jones, also of Avon, won last year's Saturday feature.

Davey Ray of Davenport, Iowa, who suffered a broken kneecap in a May racing accident, is expected to make his return to the USAC series Saturday. He is one of Angell Park's all-time favorites.

Other top candidates for victory at Angell Park will include current Badger Midget Racing Association point leader Scott Hatton of Roscoe, Ill.

Saturday night's program is sponsored by McGovern's Club and Restaurant in Sun Prairie, while Miller Genuine Draft and the Sun Prairie Tourism Commission sponsor Sunday night's finale.

A 30-lap feature event is on tap each night and a special announcement will be made regarding the 2009 inductees into the National Midget Auto Racing Hall of Fame.
