ANDRETTI AUTOSPORT'S ZACH VEACH CONTINUES TO GROW AT THE GARDEN STATE

USF2000 National Championship Driver Finishes The Weekend with Two Top Five Results at New Jersey Motorsports Park

IINDIANAPOLIS, IN June 28, 2010 - Andretti Autosport's Zach Veach took home fourth and fifth place finishes at New Jersey Motorsports Park (NJMP) on the famed Thunderbolt Raceway track this past weekend. The two-day, doubleheader races began with strong practice laps by the 15-year-old driver who ran P3 for most of the first practice, taking just 1:17.786 to complete the 2.17-mile, 14-turn road course.

"We were still struggling with No 7 Team ADS car setup before Sunday's race but made some changes," said Veach. "We have some ideas of how to do things better, which we'll be able to try out at the Road America test. For most of the weekend, we were among the top six throughout all practice sessions. We were running close to the top Sat. morning, but we were battling a loose car and needed to make adjustments. We overcorrected for the second practice session and had some understeer. I can't thank my crew and engineers enough for being on top of the car and figuring out what needs to be done. We made a lot of progress towards having the fastest car at our next race in Ill."

Veach's teammate, Sage Karam, held P1 in both practice sessions, taking the checkered flag during the first race and finished ninth after a rock dented his radiator, causing a leak and subsequent overheating.

"I feel for my teammate, Sage," said Veach. "It's just a part of racing. Every weekend something happens and this weekend was our turn to have the bad luck. I'm honored to be a part of such a great team and I'm looking forward to using our misfortune to our advantage at Autobahn [Country Club]. We have lots of ideas that we'll be able to try out at the Road America test.""

The Stockdale, Ohio, native and his teammate will continue their season at Autobahn Country Club in Joliet, Ill., for another doubleheader race July 31 - Aug. 1. HDNet will provide live coverage, once again, with timing and scoring available at www.usf2000timing.com.
