BJR adds second Freightliner car for Winton
Brad Jones Racing will run two Freightliner-backed Commodores at Winton this weekend, following another livery change for Nick Percat’s Holden.

As the rolling sponsorship for Percat’s #8 Commodore continues, the BJR newcomer will celebrate his first competitive trip to the team’s home track with a black and yellow Freightliner livery.
That means that along with teammate Tim Slade’s regular Freightliner-backed entry there will be two cars sponsored by the truck manufacturer on track together for the first time.
“The Freightliner Racing Commodore looks awesome,” said Percat.
“It’s a different contrast to the matte black cars in the field and the pops of yellow and chrome will really make it stand out on track.”
Percat is hoping the trip to Winton – not far from the team’s HQ in Albury – will provide a turnaround in fortunes, particularly given that it’s where Slade enjoyed a breakthrough double win 12 months ago.
“Winton is a happy hunting ground for Brad Jones Racing,” added Percat.
“It would be a dream to get both of the Freightliner Racing Commodores on the podium this weekend. I know the team and I will be doing all we can to get up the front.
“After the success Tim had last year, the guys and girls at Freightliner Racing are really excited to go back to their home track – as am I. The BJR cars have had some good results here in recent years and it would be good to continue that trend, especially after the run we’ve had so far this year!”
