Having run the #14 Commodore in red and black since Freightliner came on board as the major sponsor for the 2015 season, BJR has gone for a fresh white, silver, and red look for the new year.

The new livery will have its first proper hit-out when all of the Supercars teams take to Sydney Motorsport Park for next week’s Dunlop tyre test.

“The Freightliner Racing Commodore looks awesome,” said Slade.

“It’s so different to what the car has been over the past few years, we’ve had the design locked down for a while now and I’m excited to finally show it off to our Freightliner Racing fans.”

Slade, who took his first Supercars wins last year with a clean sweep at Winton, added that he’s looking to build on his eighth place finish in the points in 2016.

“We didn’t put too much pressure on ourselves last year, we always wanted to do well and aim for the Top 10,” he said.

“We achieved some great results, and this year we’ll be looking to build on that and be more consistent with our speed and good results.”

This is third livery reveal that BJR has done during the pre-season, following Tim Blanchard’s Cooldrive-backed entry and a one-off Clipsal 500 look for new signing Nick Percat.
