Fabian Coulthard is fast establishing himself as a regular top five finisher in the V8 Supercar Championship after racking up another stellar race at Ipswich today.
The Lockwood Racing driver had to fend off Russel Ingall in sixth for almost the entire 65 laps, saying the pressure was on for each corner to be inch-perfect.
The result moved Coulthard up to eighth in the championship and he says a podium will surely follow if the team continues doing what it is doing.
The next round of the V8 Supercar Championship is at Eastern Creek from 25-26 August.

"Fourth yesterday and fifth today and to qualify in the top ten both days; it's been a pretty good weekend! I hope this run of fourths and fifths is a solid platform for me to take the next leap onto the podium.
"We just have to continue what we're doing and it's coming sooner or later. I'm not putting any emphasis on when. I'm just fine-tuning myself and learning about the car and it will happen in good time. We're just quietly going around our business and learning valuable things along the way.
"Russell Ingall was within three car lengths for most of the race so I wouldn't say it was easy going. I had to be inch perfect every lap and keep my wits about me."
