McNALLY'S READY FOR ADELAIDE STREET FIGHT
West Coast Racing's Mark and Glenn McNally will begin their 2009 campaigns at Adelaide's Clipsal 500 this weekend in what is shaping up to be a strong year for the West Australian brothers in the fujitsu V8 Supercars and V8 Utes Series respectively.
Mark is coming off an extremely strong test day at Winton Raceway last week, and if his laps times there are any indication of how he will perform this weekend then he is in for a good one.
"It is just good to get back to racing," Mark said.
"It has been a long break this summer and I just can't wait to continue on from where we left off in 2008".
With a top five at the last round of 2008 Mark will be looking to land his first podium finishes this year.
Glenn was the 2008 Rookie of the Year in the V8 Utes and will attract plenty of attention from his fellow competitors now that he is an established top ten driver in the category.
With a whole season under his belt Glenn is looking for his first podium in the category and will be wanting to push well into the top ten this year.
"It's not getting any easier," Glenn said.
"All the guys are pushing hard in this category and I am no different.
"I know that I can race with the best of them this year so it is just a matter of focusing on consistency."
Glenn has qualifying today and three races over the weekend while Mark will qualify tomorrow with tow races on Friday and Saturday respectively.
