JACK DANIEL'S RACING SUCCESSFULLY ROLLS OUT TWO BRAND NEW CARS AT WINTON

Jack Daniel's Racing drivers Todd and Rick Kelly are happy with the progress and potential shown by their pair of brand new Jack Daniel's Racing Holden Commodores in the first official V8 Supercar test day of the season at Winton Motor Raceway in Winton, Victoria today.

Both brothers were very pleased with their day's work, with no major problems to report from both cars and each entry finishing the day in the top half of the field.

Rick Kelly finished the day in fifth place on the timesheets in the #15 Jack Daniel's Racing Holden Commodore, with Todd in eighth place after a full day of testing and set-up work on the brand new black machines. Both cars completed limited laps on a shakedown session afforded to new cars last Tuesday at Winton.

Today marked the first official test day for Kelly Racing, which will field the two Jack Daniel's Racing Holden Commodores in this year's V8 Supercar Championship Series as well as entries for Jack Perkins and Dale Wood.

The 2009 V8 Supercar Championship Series will kick off at the Clipsal 500 on the streets of Adelaide on March 19-22.

QUOTEBOARD:

Todd Kelly - #7 Jack Daniel's Racing Holden Commodore

"It's been a very busy few months for everyone involved in Kelly Racing but to have two brand new Jack Daniel's Commodores take to the track and not have any problems or dramas all day is a great reward for all that hard work," said Todd Kelly.

"We simply had a program today to work through and by the end of the day we had some good directions with the new Jack Daniel's Commodores.

"After today I'm certainly looking forward to taking to the tack for the first time at Clipsal in a few weeks time."

Rick Kelly - #15 Jack Daniel's Racing Holden Commodore

"We had a pretty full program to get through today with our new Jack Daniel's Racing Holden Commodore," said Rick Kelly.

"We got everything achieved that we wanted to do. It's been a pretty full on few months for everyone in the team, so overall today was pretty pleasing to get through with a pretty solid day's work.

"We head to Adelaide with the aim of finishing inside the top five and hopeful continue that form throughout the year."
