After the last two rounds Jason Bright was pleased to be back on familiar ground today – the V8 Supercar Top Ten at Queensland Raceway, Ipswich.

Races at Townsville (July) and Darwin (June) were less than satisfactory for Team BOC especially following two emphatic wins at Winton (May) and Perth (June).

Now Brighty, along with Andrew Jones who drove the first two practice sessions, believes the team has hit its stride again after finishing ninth this afternoon.

Qualifying for tomorrow's race starts at midday.

Jason Bright - Team BOC

"I'm sure we didn't put our best foot forward at the end there but everything made sense and I'm happy with the pace that we've shown.

"There's no doubt we've still got pretty good tyre life; that really shone through. I'll be disappointed if we're not in the top five starting tomorrow's race but we've won from further back."

Andrew Jones - Team BOC

"We did a couple of long runs and the car had good tyre life and good consistency. The thing feels great! The weekend at this point has a similar feel to Perth, and we all know how that turned out!"
