On Carb Day at Indianapolis there was a wonderful parade of antique vintage racing cars all of which were connected to the Speedway in years past. These pampered machines, all of which were running and in fit trim to go racing under historic conditions, are the pride and joy of their dedicated owners.

They were selected from invitations sent out by the Hall of Fame Museum to collectors across the country. Each car has a history which needs to be encapsulated into text but that remains a task for another day.

For those who saw these cars at Indy this year and for others who may be interested, here are the vintage Indy cars that were presented this year:
