The Historic formula Atlantic cars will once again be racing on the streets of Trois-Rivieres, Quebec.

After a very successful inaugural event at Trois-Rivieres in 2004, the Historic Formula Atlantic group has been invited back to take part in the 36th running of "Le Grand Prix de Trois-Rivieres". The event will take place on August 5,6,&7, 2005.

Last years event saw Bill Brack and his Lotus 59/69 race against two ex-Gilles Villeneuve cars as well as the Bobby Rahal owned Lola. The event was won by Duncan Dayton driving the Rahal Lola, in a very exciting race between Dayton and 1984 Formula Atlantic Champion, Dan Marvin, driving the ex-Villeneuve, Direct Film liveried 1976 March 76B, to the queckered flag

Bill Brack will once again be racing at Trois-Rivieres in his STP liveried Lotus 59/69, the car that he won the 1974 Formula Atlantic Championship with, when the Historic Formula Atlantic cars take to the streets of Trois-Rivieres.

The Historic Formula Atlantic race is open to all Formula Atlantic Cars from 1974 through 1988 powered by 1600 cc Ford Cosworth BDA engines.

This celebration of the "Cosworth Era" of Formula Atlantic racing in North America is sure to attract a full grid of cars, as well as many Atlantic racing fans from all over North America, so make sure you get your entries in early and your hotel accommodation booked soon in order to save yourself some disappointment.
