post-WWII Grand Prix, in Nice, France (1946).
April 23
The FIA rules that the Lotus 88 "twin chassis" F1 car is illegal,
though the rules did not exclude it (1981).
April 24
Vitorrio Brambilla and Jean-Pierre Jarier drive an Alfa Romeo
T33/SC/12 to victory in the 1000K World Sportscar Championship race
at Monza, Italy (1977).

Ted Field and Bill Whittington drive a Lola T600 to victory in the
